Soup on the menu? Chilli for the jackets? Gravy to keep hot through lunch service?

The Hatco HEATMAX heated wells heat your food, then keep it hot and ready to serve. Just set the Heat timer, and the unit switches to Hold automatically when the time is up.

Each well comes with its own removable stainless steel 10-litre pan and hinged lid. The pans go in the dishwasher, so cleaning is easy.

It’s not just for soup, either. One unit can work as a food warmer, soup kettle, bain marie, pasta cooker and – with the optional steam plate – a steamer.

A few questions you might have:

Do the pans and lids come with them?
Yes. One with the single model and two with the twin.

Can I use them for gravy, curry or chilli?
Yes, they’re not just for soup. They’re suitable for heating and holding a range of wet foods.

Will each pan hold 10 litres of soup?
The pans are nominally 10 litres, but Hatco recommends a working capacity of 8 litres for warming or 6 litres for boiling.

Do I need to keep switching between heating and holding?
No. Set a heating time and the unit switches to Hold automatically when the timer finishes.

Can I run the two pans at different temperatures?
Yes. The twin model has separate controls for each well.

What happens if the pan runs dry?
The display shows “Dry” and the unit beeps to warn you.

Need a hand choosing?

Serving one soup a day? The single will do the job. Offering soup plus a hot topping, or two soups side by side? The twin gives you both, each at its own temperature.
