Start with Capacity

Think about what you’re washing and how many loads you’re likely to put through each day. A larger-capacity washing machine can reduce the number of loads needed, while pairing it with a suitably sized dryer keeps things moving – there’s little point getting the washing done quickly if you’re then waiting for dryer space.

Smaller independent gyms and studios may not need anything huge. The important thing is matching capacity to your actual workload.

Turnaround Matters

If you provide towels for showers, classes, spa facilities or treatment areas, you don’t want them sitting in the laundry room all day.

Look for machines with programmes suited to the laundry you’re handling, including faster cycles where appropriate. The quicker you can wash, dry and get everything back into circulation, the fewer spare towels and linens you need to keep on hand.
