Stick Blenders

A stick blender is also known as an immersion blender, basically a wand with a blender blade on one end and a handle with a switch on the other. These are handheld blenders, the tip inserted into what ever container you are using to blend, stir, puree, emulsify or chop your ingredients. The benefits of a stick blender are that it can be used to blend in whatever containers suits your ingredients. This saves on time and washing up and there is less danger of spilling hot liquids by blending directly in the cooking pot.
